Is Jackpot Party Casino Worth Your Time? A Guide for Canadian Players
On this page
Jackpot Party Casino is a free slots app from SciPlay, the sister of Quick Hit, and Canadians can get it from the App Store and Google Play. The coins have no cash value, the slots include WMS and Bally brands, and coin packs on the Canadian App Store ran from $0.99 to $129.99 (CAD) on October 13, 2026.
Who is behind Jackpot Party, and where can you play it?
Jackpot Party belongs to SciPlay, which Light & Wonder (formerly Scientific Games) took fully in-house in October 2023 by buying the remaining public shares (Light & Wonder’s announcement, filed with the SEC). Apple’s Canadian listing names the seller as Phantom EFX, Inc. and carries a SciPlay Games, LLC copyright line. Phantom EFX was a games studio that WMS acquired in 2012, and it appears among SciPlay’s subsidiaries in its 2019 annual report.

|---|---|
| Publisher | SciPlay (Light & Wonder) |
| iPhone and iPad | Canadian App Store, seller shown as Phantom EFX, Inc.; also runs on Apple silicon Macs |
| Android | Google Play, published by SciPlay |
| Computer | Facebook on a desktop computer, or the Microsoft version on Windows |

| Google Play rating | Teen (ESRB), Simulated Gambling, In-Game Purchases (Includes Random Items) |
| SciPlay’s own minimum age | 21 (18 in Australia only) |
| Currencies | Coins, plus Honey Bucks |
| Coin packs, Canadian App Store | $0.99 to $129.99 (CAD) |
The help centre says Facebook switched off its cloud-streamed version of the game, so on a phone you need the store app. SciPlay’s terms do not single out Canada, but they apply Nevada law and individual arbitration, and they set 21 as the minimum age wherever you live, Australia excepted. The Teen label on Google Play comes from the ESRB, which rates games across the Americas (Google Play’s rating standards); our page on age ratings and parental controls explains the gap.
What do you play with, and what is there to do?
Coins are the spinning currency, and SciPlay’s terms say they can never be redeemed for money or goods, sold or transferred. That is the standard no-cash-value rule. Honey Bucks are a second in-game currency, earned from the Honey Do list, Extra Credit and big-win prizes, that open prize boxes instantly and speed up other features.
The features the help centre described in October 2026:
- Party Prizes: a spin paying at least 25 times your bet awards a random prize box with a timer from one hour (Mini) to eight hours (Mega). Higher bets raise the prize’s Star Power, which the help centre says means bigger rewards.
- Lightning Leagues: weekly divisions with promotion and demotion; higher divisions multiply your timed bonus and add coins to purchases (leagues and clubs explained).
- Dash 4 Cash and Tournament of Champions: 15-minute tournaments paying the top places (how slot tournaments work).
- Diamond Pass: a season track of around a month with one free tier and two paid tiers.
- Epic Collections, Bingo Countdown and All-Stars: card journals, bingo cards and collectable characters, fed mostly by Party Prizes (card collections and albums).
The slots include WMS and Bally titles such as Invaders from the Planet Moolah and Zeus II, plus featured progressive jackpots that require a qualifying bet.
What costs money in Jackpot Party?
The Canadian App Store’s in-app purchase list on October 13, 2026 showed ten coin packages from $0.99 to $129.99 (CAD). As with Quick Hit, some names carry US prices: “14.99 Coin Package” was listed at $19.99 in Canada. Our guide to in-app purchase pricing explains why packs are framed this way.
- Paid Diamond Pass tracks last one season and must be bought again for the next; rewards arrive as you progress, not up front.
- Prize promotions such as shopping sprees and Carnival cruise vouchers are real, but the 2026 official rules in the help centre restrict entry to legal residents of the 50 US states or DC aged 21 or over.
- Refunds: the help centre sends accidental-purchase refunds to the platform you paid on, and SciPlay’s terms treat purchases as final. Our App Store and Google Play refund guide walks through it.
Is Jackpot Party legit, and what is the catch?
Jackpot Party is a genuine app and offers no real-money gambling. It was, however, named in a US court case. In April 2018 a class action, Fife v. Scientific Games, was filed in federal court in Washington State claiming the company’s social casino games, Jackpot Party Casino and Gold Fish Casino among them, were illegal gambling under Washington law. It settled for $24.5 million (USD), the court gave final approval in August 2022, and SciPlay paid (SciPlay’s 2022 annual report). It covered Washington residents only.
The day-to-day catch is design:
- Entering a slot sets your bet to a percentage of your bankroll automatically.
- The help centre says betting high is the fastest way to level up, and bigger bets also earn richer Party Prizes and more league points.
- A guest account does not merge with a Facebook account, and guest progress stays on the device that created it.
- SciPlay may close accounts inactive for 180 days, with nothing owed for unused coins.

Questions people ask
Is Jackpot Party Casino the same company as Quick Hit?
Yes. Both are published by SciPlay, Light & Wonder's social games division, and both run under the same SciPlay Terms of Service. They are still separate apps: SciPlay says its coins cannot be transferred between games, and the Quick Hit loyalty program is exclusive to Quick Hit.
What are Honey Bucks in Jackpot Party?
Honey Bucks are a second in-game currency. The help centre says you earn them from the Honey Do list, Extra Credit and big-win Party Prizes, and spend them to open Party Prizes instantly, upgrade All-Stars or move faster through Epic Collections. Like coins, they have no cash value.
Was Jackpot Party Casino sued?
Yes, in the US. A 2018 class action in federal court in Washington State claimed SciPlay's then-parent company's social casino games, Jackpot Party Casino among them, were illegal gambling under Washington law. It settled for $24.5 million (USD) with final court approval in August 2022, and it applied to Washington residents, not Canadians.
