Quick Hit Casino is a free-to-play slots app from SciPlay, the social games division of Light & Wonder, and Canadians can download it from the App Store and Google Play. You spin with coins that can never be cashed out, the line-up includes Bally and WMS slot brands, and the coin packs listed on the Canadian App Store on October 13, 2026 ran from $0.99 to $129.99 (CAD).

Who makes Quick Hit, and can you get it in Canada?

Light & Wonder (formerly Scientific Games) bought the last public SciPlay shares on October 23, 2023, making SciPlay a wholly owned subsidiary. Apple’s Canadian listing names the seller as Appchi Media Ltd, but it carries a Scientific Games copyright line and points to SciPlay as developer.

The Canadian listing, priced in Canadian dollars, settles availability, even though the official website’s footer still describes the app as available in the US. SciPlay’s terms have no clause aimed at Canada, but they are written for the US: Nevada law, individual arbitration and a class action waiver.

Google Play’s Teen label comes from the ESRB, which rates games across the Americas (Google Play’s rating standards), yet SciPlay bars anyone under 21. On a shared device, set store age limits and purchase controls.

What can you do with Quick Hit coins?

Coins are the only currency you spin with. The terms say they are licensed, not owned, can never be redeemed for anything of monetary value, and cannot be sold or transferred. SciPlay can change what coins do at any time and may close an account inactive for 180 days. Our page on why coins have no cash value explains the model.

The features, as the official help centre described them in October 2026:

  • Daily bonus wheel and Quick Bonus: a daily spin plus a lobby bonus that charges hourly and stops charging at four hours (how bonus timers and streaks work).
  • Quick Tourney and Race of Glory: 15-minute tournaments paying the top three, and a longer race that opens at level 100 (tournaments and events explained).
  • Vegas Ventures, WildBalls and the Quick Hit Vault: daily missions, timed prize balls won on big wins, and a code-cracking vault fed by key-chips.
  • Quick Hit Collections: seasonal card sets (how card albums work).
  • QH Rewards Program: loyalty levels from Silver up to an invitation-only Blue Diamond, with points reset every December 31 (levels, XP and VIP tiers).

The slot list mixes Quick Hit series games with titles such as Dancing Drums, Planet Moolah and Buffalo. SciPlay’s 2022 annual report describes a licence to intellectual property from LNW Gaming, the Light & Wonder subsidiary formerly called Bally Gaming.

What costs money in Quick Hit?

The in-app purchase list on the Canadian App Store on October 13, 2026 showed ten coin items from $0.99 to $129.99 (CAD). Some names still quote US prices: “80,000 coins for $9.99” was listed at $12.99 in Canada. The price at checkout is the one that counts; our guide to how in-app purchases are priced covers the pack tactics.

  • Prize giveaways are not open to you. The app promotes giveaways for cruise vouchers, gift cards and trips, but every 2026 rulebook we read in the help centre limited entry to legal residents of the 50 US states or DC, aged 21 or over.
  • Refunds go through the store. SciPlay’s terms call purchases final and refundable only at its discretion, and warn that misusing a refund process can get an account suspended. For accidental or unauthorized charges, use Apple’s or Google’s refund process.

Is Quick Hit legit, and what is the catch?

It is a genuine app and offers no real-money gambling. The catch is in how it nudges play:

  • When you open a slot, the game sets your bet to a percentage of your bankroll, so check it before spinning.
  • The help centre says betting high is the fastest way to level up, and WildBall coin prizes scale with your bet.
  • A guest account stays on one device; only a Facebook or Apple login lets you recover progress elsewhere.

There is also US court history. In April 2018 a class action, Fife v. Scientific Games, was filed in federal court in Washington State claiming the company’s social casino games, Jackpot Party Casino and Gold Fish Casino among them, broke Washington gambling law. It settled for $24.5 million (USD), with final approval in August 2022, and SciPlay paid (SciPlay’s 2022 annual report). Quick Hit was not named in the filings we read, and the case covered Washington residents only. It was not a Canadian case.

Questions people ask

Is Quick Hit Casino available in Canada?

Yes. As of October 13, 2026 it is listed on the Canadian App Store with prices in Canadian dollars, and on Google Play. SciPlay's terms contain no clause excluding Canada, but they set 21 as the minimum age everywhere except Australia, and the in-app prize giveaways we checked were limited to US residents.

Can you win real money on Quick Hit Casino?

No. SciPlay's terms say coins can never be redeemed for money, goods or anything of monetary value, and buying, selling or transferring them is prohibited. The occasional prize giveaways run under their own rules, and the 2026 rules we read were open only to legal residents of the United States.

Who owns Quick Hit Casino?

Quick Hit is published by SciPlay, the social games division of Light & Wonder, the slot maker formerly called Scientific Games. Light & Wonder bought the remaining public SciPlay shares in October 2023, so SciPlay is now a wholly owned subsidiary.
