myVEGAS Slots is a free-to-play slots app from Playstudios that Canadians can download from the App Store and Google Play, and its selling point is a loyalty program. The chips have no value, but playing also earns Loyalty Points that can be exchanged for real-world rewards from partners such as MGM Resorts. Chip packs on the Canadian App Store ran from $2.99 to $49.99 (CAD) on October 13, 2026.

Who makes myVEGAS Slots, and where can you play it?

Playstudios is a Las Vegas company whose Class A shares trade on Nasdaq. Apple lists Playstudios, Inc. as the seller and Google Play lists Playstudios US, LLC. It is a different publisher from SciPlay, the Light & Wonder division behind Quick Hit and Jackpot Party. Its terms say it is a founding member of the International Social Games Association, an industry body.

Its Canadian store listing, in Canadian dollars, is the practical answer on availability. Playstudios’ Terms of Service, last modified September 27, 2024, do not mention Canada. They do say that if the service is illegal where you are, you get no licence to use it. Chips and progress carry over between phone and browser when you log in with the same Facebook account, while the older browser game myVEGAS Classic keeps separate chips and shares only Loyalty Points. The Teen label on Google Play is an ESRB rating that applies across the Americas (Google Play’s rating standards); see age ratings and parental controls for the gap with Apple’s 18+.

How do chips and Loyalty Points work?

Chips are the spinning currency. The terms say you receive an allotment of chips usually every two hours, and that between allotments you can decline a purchase offer and still get enough chips for one minimum spin. Chips cannot be converted into money or traded, the standard no-cash-value rule for social casinos.

Loyalty Points are the difference. The terms state they are never awarded based on the outcome of a game; you earn them for engagement, and they pool across Playstudios’ games under its myVIP program. Separately, myVIP Tier Points, earned from daily and hourly bonuses and from chip purchases, move you up VIP tiers (how VIP tiers work).

Features named in the store listings and help centre:

  • Slots from Konami and Ainsworth, such as Lotus Land and Chili Chili Fire, plus themes based on Las Vegas resorts.
  • A High Roller Room for bigger bets, and real-time slot tournaments (tournaments and events).
  • Clubhouse, which the help centre describes as clubs of up to 10 players completing daily tasks for weekly vault prizes (clubs and leagues).
  • Collectible sticker albums run as multi-month events (sticker and card albums).
  • Bonus chips every two hours on top of daily bonuses (bonus timers and streaks).

What costs money in myVEGAS?

The Canadian App Store listing on October 13, 2026 showed ten chip items from $2.99 to $49.99 (CAD), with names such as Big Win Chips and High Roller Chips. Our guide to how in-app purchases are priced explains how packs like these are presented.

  • Playstudios can change chip prices at any time, and its terms treat purchases as final and non-refundable.
  • A Playstudios help article says purchases on the myVEGAS website go through the payment processor Xsolla, not Apple or Google, so Apple’s and Google’s refund processes would not apply to them. For app purchases, see refunds through the App Store and Google Play.
  • The Android version shows ads, according to its Google Play listing.

Is myVEGAS legit, and what is the catch?

It is a genuine app from a listed company, and the rewards are real: Playstudios’ 2025 annual report says players across its games have used loyalty points to acquire 19 million rewards. The catch is in the conditions. Loyalty Points can be expired after 30 days without a login, earning pauses behind a lock that the help centre says generally lifts after about 24 hours, and some rewards carry stay requirements or redemption deadlines. Our myVEGAS rewards guide for Canadians covers the fine print.

There is also open US litigation. Playstudios’ report for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 discloses a class action filed in February 2024 in King County, Washington, alleging its games are illegal gambling under Washington law, plus mass arbitration demands brought under US state gambling laws. The company says the claims are without merit, and they were unresolved in that filing (Playstudios’ Q2 2026 report). These are US proceedings, not Canadian ones.
